I just came up with an idea to write about and that is basically how you can turn your kitchen into a more personalized space to work in.
I have used many kitchens in different settings and to be honest, most of them are boring. Many people use the reasoning that a kitchen has to be clean and free of anything that can catch dirt or anything else that should not be in a kitchen.
I agree with most of that but then I see the dog or cat eating its food in the same kitchen. But I am getting side tracked. Back to the subject.
How can you make a kitchen more personal?
I stumbled upon this by accident and at first I did not pay to much attention to it until later that night I said down and reviewed my day as I always do.
What I stumbled upon was a website about personal gifts and they have a whole section about what they call personalize kitchen wall art.
When I started looking around and knowing that most home cooks do not have a large budget to personalize their kitchen I found many ideas for inexpensive kitchen wall decoration ideas there.
Here are a few ideas I found on that website. And I can also tell you that I spend a lot of time looking around and came up with some gift ideas for many occasions.

These are just two of the ideas I found and that I thought were pretty cool. If you like to see more click on that link above and you will be amazed how many options there are to put a little personal touch in your kitchen.
The also have some nice signs and ideas for your outdoor kitchen by the way. This is more for outdoor cooks on the grill and smoker.
My favorite Kitchen Sign
I have save my personal best custom kitchen sign for the last part of this article. I am like most cooks and love to cook but cleaning up after myself is not my strongest point in general.
I do clean my kitchen after cooking because it has to be done but I do not enjoy it like some other people I know do.
It is also a fact that if other people use your kitchen or help you they do not clean the way you generally do. Some are more picky and others are more sloppy than you are.

That is the reason that this is my personal favorite kitchen sign. I can get mad if people do not clean up after themself in my kitchen.
There are many other ways you can get your cooking a little more personal. I have knives that have my name on it and even a few aprons that have some personalize text embroided on them.
But I have never thought about putting something on the walls of my kitchen until I found this particular website with these ideas.
If yo have done anything to change your kitchen to a more personal space feel free to leave me a message and or even send me a picture that I will maybe add to this article.
